The basket
Lives in your own browser, in local storage, as a list of item codes and quantities. It never reaches this site’s servers until you press check out, and clearing your browser data deletes it.
Payment
Handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. Your card number never touches this site and is never stored here.
Your address
Passed to the printer so they can make up and post the parcel, and kept with the order record so we can answer questions about it. It is not sold, rented, or used for anything else.
Used to send your receipt, your ebook links and news about your order. You are not added to a mailing list by buying something.
Tracking
There is no advertising tracker, no third-party analytics and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

Terms of sale
Prices are in US dollars and include no tax; any tax due is calculated at checkout for your address. Ordering places a contract for a book to be manufactured to your order.
Delivery estimates include manufacturing and are estimates, not guarantees. Where a printer or carrier fails, we replace the order.
Returns, replacements and cancellations are set out on the printing and shipping page and are part of these terms.
EPUB files are sold for personal use, carry no DRM, and may be read on any device you own. They may not be redistributed or resold.
The books, the covers and this site are protected in the human-authored expression and in the selection, arrangement and editing of the text and illustrations. See how these books are made.
These books are published and sold by Greenlight Publishing, and any order is a contract with them. The byline Jory Hark is a pen name: it is the name on the cover and it holds no rights.
Two things are still missing here and neither is invented: a registered address for Greenlight Publishing, and the jurisdiction whose law governs these terms. Both are owed before this site takes a payment, and until then nothing on it can be bought.
